Welcome to Monday! It's a brand new week and we are wrapping up last week's work and getting ready for this week's project. The senior intro class is working on pencil shading in preparation for two concurrent assignments; pastels and clay. The next couple of weeks will have a more "up tempo" pace as we capitalize on the cooler fall weather which is ideal for clay and continue working on shading and moving from black and white to colour. The Room perspective drawing is due this Friday and room 3 will be available each lunch hour except Wednesday (caf. duty). Lots of opportunity to catch up if you are falling behind.
The grade nine classes are continuing to look at tessellations only this time we are using coloured construction paper as the medium. I need to begin marking the tessellations that were due on Friday. Again the art room is open just about every day this week for your drawing facilitation.
