Julie Wafaei now Julie Angus is a molecular biologist with a degree from MacMaster University in bio/psych. She has spend 10 years "studying and developing treatments for heart disease, cancer and genetic ailments" www.angusadventures.com
She is the first and only woman to row across the Atlantic Ocean from mainland to mainland. She and a partner rowed through the worst hurricane season in history that included 4 cyclones and white sharks. Her adventure is in a book she wrote called Rowboat in a Hurricane.
